"I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Glacir NYC! And I can easily say that this was one of my favorite photo shoots in a while. Max was nothing short of a gentleman and easy going photographer. He even brought me a bottle of water.
Here’s a synopsis of my experience:
I had initially reached out to Glacier after seeing a post on Facebook that they were looking for models. I am an equity actor, dancer and model within the NYC area and I’m always looking to branch out and work with other artists. So I seized this opportunity. From the first moment of contact, Glacier was very welcoming and kind with their outreach and communication. We had a quick consultation call before scheduling the appointment. And I loved that because it gave me an opportunity to talk with the photographer before fully committing to the photoshoot.
As I stated, Max was very warming and kind from the start. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable and really interested in working with him. We then established the time and place and the rest was history!
We met at the Lincoln Center as per bus recommendation and WOW did he have excellent spots for photographing. We had fun and easy conversations throughout the shoot. Max even taught me some great tips for point of focus and head positioning during photos. It showed me that he really knew what he was doing. He would even show me some sample shots to see if I like them before moving on to the next shot. He utilized ideal timing and lighting during the day, as well as standard and fun backdrops for different types of photos depending on if we were doing headshots or three quarter shots.
At the end of the day, I would highly recommend working with Glacier NYC. They are professional, kind, and easy going with their photoshoot process. 5 out of 5 stars here.
