(Are you launching something new, rebranding, growing your personal profile, or aligning with your company’s next phase?)
When someone looks at the photos from your photoshoot, what will they be thinking? What will their initial reaction look like?
(Consider how clients, investors, or team members might interpret your image.)
When an investor looks at the photos from your photoshoot, what will they be thinking? What will their initial reaction look like?
What themes would you like to convey in your headshots?
(Polished and powerful? Down-to-earth and relatable? Bold and visionary? Calm and focused?)
What is the overall mood of your look?
Does the overall mood of your look match the image you want to project as a leader and founder?
How will your outfit compliment this mood?
How will your hair and makeup compliment this mood?
What are some past experiences you can pull from to feel connected and grounded during your photoshoot?
What expression do you want on your face when taking the photos?
Envision a scenario where your natural reaction would be to make the expression that you are going for with this look. What is that scenario?
If you already have headshots, how was your experience working with your previous photographer?
If you already have headshots that you are happy with, how will your new headshots add to your marketing toolkit?
If you have headshots that you are not happy with, what do you not like about them and what will you do differently this time to get headshots that you are happy with?
What is the editing style that you would like to see for your final retouched images?
